Six outstanding Cross Riverians who distinguished themselves during the one year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) service year (2015-2017) are among the awardees who received presidential honours on Friday.
The event which took place at Aso Villa attracted top government functionaries from all walks of life.
The awardees from the state include:
Dr .Ubokobong Imho Eshiet (2017 overall best in Nigeria)
Joan John Okon (2017 Best Corp in Nigeria)
Ojen Kenneth Okpa (2017 Best Corp in Nigeria)
Nsa Archibong Effiong (2016 Best Corp in Nigeria)
Dr David Iyam Eko (2016 Best Corp in Nigeria)
Dominic Obule (2015 Best Corp in Nigeria)
With this award, they are entitled to a presidential medal, automatic employment into Federal ministries and agencies as well as a Post Graduate Scholarship up to Ph.D level in either Foreign or Local Universities.
Previous recipients of the award from the state include a former SUG president of CRUTECH, Nchor Julius
